LIVING GRAIN AND GLUTEN-FREE WITHOUT REFINED SUGARS

Today, the occurrence of obesity and Type 2 diabetes among adults and children is at a all-time high.  Americans are obsessed with grain-based foods and refined sugars.  We are setting ourselves up for disease if we continue to eat the Standard American Diet.  Sugar has many names the consumer is not aware of.  Some brands of salt also contain sugar.  The following is a list of some of the refined sugars found on the food label to help you identify the different forms of sugar: barley malt, dehydrated cane juice, cane juice crystals, corn syrup solids, carob syrup, dextrose, fruit juice concentrate (most concentrates contain sugar), glucose, high fructose corn syrup, maltodextrin, malt syrup, rice syrup, and sucrose.
